We recognize the importance of contributing and collaborating with the San Diego community and have great respect for those who dedicate their time to improving other people’s lives. On this occasion, we had the pleasure of working with Gensler’s gServe Team, who was heading the design for the 80th Room Makeover for Cecily’s Closet to make a child’s dream come true.
A four-year-old with a passion for sports, a natural fighter who has been courageously struggling for his life all through his short journey, was born with a complex congenital heart disease that required open surgery one month after he was born. He also suffered a severe subdural hematoma at birth, and at the age of two and a half, he required another open heart surgery. He was born with DiGeorge Syndrome, often referred to as 22q11 deletion syndrome.
He was nominated for a Sweet Dream room makeover by his pediatrician and we were pleased to have been chosen by our friends at Gensler to be a part of this exciting project.
To make his dream possible, we donated a sky wall graphic print and installation. We printed the graphic with latex inks on HP PVC-Free wallpaper which installs and removes with water, to ensure the graphic does not create any air quality issues in the room and can be removed easily when the family moves.
We are very happy being part of the team that made this little kid’s Sweet Dream room makeover come true.
