Summer Ideas: Customize Your Capture the Flag Game

You may remember this game from your childhood.  Talk about a team-building exercise – you can take this as far as you like, with strategies, specially designated team members performing specific football-like plays.  All you have to do is capture the other team’s flag – and stop them from capturing yours!

Flag material is pretty inexpensive, so this is a great budget-friendly summer game.  And you can use the same flags year after year.

You can even have various company departments design their own flags for their teams – The Avenging Accountants, or the Dungeon Master Designers – a team identity they can carry with them even after the games are over.

Go the extra mile and have team t-shirts printed with the flag designs – and your company logo, of course.  Team members may want to wear these on their days off, and its free advertising for your company.

Print the flag designs on tablecloths, Banners for the team home areas, pennants for friends and family to wave to encourage their team – you can really go crazy with this if you want.  And why not? Summer only comes once a year!
