Inspiration and Hometown Vision

Problem

Add identity, motivation and inspiration using artwork, glass identity graphics and word-graphic walls to enliven the training rooms and director’s office in their Mission Valley clinic location.

Solution

The director had already hired Safdie Rabines Architects (SRI) (www.safdierabines.com) with whom we worked closely to fulfill the client’s goals.  SRI provided us with the Pantone colors they had chosen and we were able to match them with our newest UV digital printing systems.

We brought in a professional photographer we have worked with many times before to provide high resolution images of San Diego. The artwork the client chose from the photographer’s website included panoramic shots of San Diego’s natural landscapes and architectural highlights, including the iconic, internationally recognized Hotel del Coronado, and the rich tones of sunset on the sandstone cliffs and natural arches of Point Loma.  Working within the budget the VA gave us, we were able to produce museum-quality art giving them stunning large format images for their walls at a very reasonable price point.

The VA also provided us with a list of values it emphasizes when working with clients in the training rooms.  This provided us with the basics we used to design word graphic walls.  These eye-catching floor-to-ceiling wall treatments included dimensional lettering as well as vinyl wall graphics giving the rooms a texture and motivational energy they had lacked before.

Our window vinyl graphics provided strong identification for the director’s office including an elaborate etched-glass-look rendering of the agency’s official seal.

Result

A fresh makeover for an existing office space that not only stayed within the client’s budget but also met with the approval of the real estate company that leases the office space to the VA.
